U of M students we need more people! Talk to your fellow students and get them into the FB page! We need at least 15 members to become a recognized group. A quick run down for what we plan on doing:
We will have 5 established officers to oversee the club. This will include Pres, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations (PR), and Event Coordinator. These will be selected from the founding members of the group for the first Year. There will be a constitution for the group discussing all rules and regs (all the unfun stuff)
We will decide a day of the week that we can meet. We will be meeting in the Don Anderson Hall (Journalism school) room 306. This is a lab with 21 computers that will be usable to play League on. If you have a laptop I highly recommend bringing it just so people that do not have a movable comp or are unable to play League without a provided computer will most likely get priority. (This is tentative upon approval from the dean which I have a request in.)
My initial goals of this club is to build our community base. I want to hold meetings Thursdays or Fridays if possible for the fact that LCS generally plays on those days and we can put it on the big screen in the lab. We can decided on an official day dependent on what people need/want to meet. Once we get this setup we can try to do other fun things.
Ultimately I wanted to create a club for people to hang out, have fun, and enjoy a fantastic game. Later goals may include trips to some live events, a University wide tournament for all, and a whole bunch of other cool things.
